About Drew Friedfertig
I’m Drew Friedfertig, staff attorney and office manager of our family firm here in Buffalo, New York. My commitment to building a sustainable, just society for everyone has led me to pursue a career in law, and I am thrilled to be able to put that passion to use by working with my firm to help a diverse array of clients, including small business owners, nonprofit organizations, transgender people seeking changes to their identity documents, veterans, and people who have been wrongfully convicted and incarcerated. I was born and raised in Western New York, attending Williamsville North High School and later New York University and SUNY University at Buffalo. After graduating in 2015 from the Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, now known as Mitchell | Hamline School of Law, I passed the New York State Bar Exam and was admitted to practice. In addition to working at the firm, I am also a volunteer and trainer with the National Lawyers Guild Legal Observer program and the Communications Director of the National Lawyers Guild’s Buffalo chapter, and work with the No Labels Clothing Cooperative to provide assistance in name change applications for individuals who aren’t eligible for other pro bono legal service programs.
